The GP practices in the South West of Cardiff (Canton, Ely, Caerau, Riverside, Pontcanna) are organising a Healthy Lives event which is planned for February 2025. The event will be held at a community venue within the South West of Cardiff and will be free to attend for all members of the public who live or work in this area. We will invite Health, Leisure and Community run services to showcase how they can support members of our community to improve their physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. This will be alongside a peer or a member of the community who has or is using this service who would be happy to share their experiences.

Our vision is to empower our population to feel confident to engage in activities which can improve their Quality of life, enabling them to take control of their Health and Wellbeing and subsequently reduce demand on our NHS services. Our hope is our fayre will show the wealth and range of local options our South West Cardiff community has to support them to make those positive changes.
