Cardiff Met are working closely with Action in Caerau & Ely (ACE) and their wellbeing connector team, to support referrals into accessing community sport and physical activity opportunities. We are aiming to raise awareness over such activities and to explore wider referral routes, which can help patients to self-refer, be referred, socially prescribed or even signposted into this provision.
Our Mind The Gap – Fun and Flex sessions (Low level – less structured session) are running every week, between Grange Pavillion and Caerau Heritage Centre (resources attached). The activities provide an opportunity to socialise (during and after – including refreshments) with others through light sport and exercise (delivered by Sportfit).
